Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women in the U.S. today, and all women are at risk. Ninety percent of breast cancers occur in women with no family history of the disease. Even though there is no certain way to prevent breast cancer, you can still protect your health by managing risk factors and establishing an early detection program. Early breast cancer is often detected by a mammogram before any symptoms are present.

Gynecologic Cancers

This year, more than 78,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed, and more than 28,000 will die from a gynecologic cancer. Gynecologic cancers are the uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells originating in the female reproductive organs. The most common are cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and uterine cancer.
