Camarillo Police Department and Ventura County Sheriffs Salute Health Care Heroes at St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital

Officers paraded outside of hospital to show their support during this pandemic

OXNARD, CA – April 15, 2020 – The front entrance at St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital (SJPVH) was a sight to see on Tuesday, April 14, as a caravan of Camarillo Police Department officers and Ventura County Sheriffs saluted health care workers on the front-lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As the procession of law enforcement vehicles paraded around the hospital's front entrance, SJPVH staff stood outside in appreciation of the recognition shown by fellow first responders.

"The show of solidarity from the Camarillo Police Department was heartfelt and appreciated," said Darren Lee, President and CEO of St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital and St. John's Regional Medical Center. "Our health care team has done an incredible job preparing for COVID-19. It is inspiring to see our community rally to support their hard work."

The law enforcement's gesture of unity is one of many acts of kindness shown towards SJPVH to thank all front-line heroes for their dedication during this critical time.
