The American Heart/Stroke Association and The Joint Commission have designated Dignity Health St. John’s Hospital Camarillo as a Primary Stroke Center. We are also recent recipients of the American Heart Association’s 2018 Get with the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Elite Honor Roll.
St. John’s Neuroscience Center of Excellence is a well-regarded program, in particular for the treatment of stroke. To continue providing the best care to the residents of Ventura County and beyond, we are expanding by adding a world class neuro-interventional biplane angiography system, as well as additional program enhancements to perform brain clot removal, aneurysm repair, carotid artery stenting, advanced brain and tumor removal and intracranial hemorrhage stoppage.
The Dignity Health St. John’s Hospital Camarillo Neuroscience Services Stroke Program is unique in that it offers patients a broad continuum of care from Emergency Department treatment to in-house acute rehabilitation.
