Meet our Expert Team

Lisa Gleason, MD

Dr. Gleason is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

She earned her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Internship and her PM&R residency training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA)

Dr. Gleason also completed an eight month Acupuncture for Physicians program while she was in residency so she could incorporate the knowledge and skills to better help her patients

She lived and worked in Spain and London for three years doing biological research at the Imperial College of London

    • Radiating neurological pain in an arm or leg
    • Neck, thoracic or lumbar muscle spasms
    • Scoliosis or other curvature irregularities

    • Disorders of the spinal cord
  •  Pain from muscle spasms, knots, or other muscle pains
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome or arm and hand neuropathies
  • Trigger fingers

  • Post-stroke rehabilitation evaluations
  • Post-traumatic brain injury outpatient evaluations
  • Fall evaluations

  • Peripheral neuropathy pain

  • Joint injections with corticosteroids or viscosupplementation

  • Referrals for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/language therapy
  • Botox injections for treating chronic migraine headaches, spasticity, and cervical dystonia
  • Oral and topical medication prescriptions as indicated
