About Chandler Regional Medical Center

Since 1961, Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center has been at the heart of the health and well-being of our community.

Its humble beginnings as a true community hospital, which opened with only 40 beds, 25 employees and 91 volunteers, laid the foundation for the full-service, acute-care hospital it has become.

Today, Chandler Regional is a 429-bed, non-profit hospital with more than 2,600 employees, and more than 1,100 doctors on staff representing all major specialties.

In 1999, Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system of hospitals. Dignity Health, one of the largest health care systems in the country, has more than 40 hospitals and care centers in Arizona, California and Nevada.

Chandler Regional is a sister hospital to Arizona General Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, and St. Joseph’s Westgate Medical Center.
