We received information from the Arizona Department of Public Health regarding changes to the Vaccines for Children and Vaccines for Adults program. In their attempt to adhere to stricter CDC guidelines for immunization programs, the AZDPH has made the decision to discontinue mobile vaccine clinics. Mobile vaccine clinics entail vaccines being stored and monitored at one location and transported to off-site locations to provide vaccine clinics. As a result of these process changes, the state has requested the immediate closure of all providers conducting travel clinics until permanent locations are established. Despite the short notice, Dignity Health is diligently working to transition to a permanent vaccine clinic location at the Chandler Care Center within the next few weeks and Gilbert’s Heritage Center within the next 6 months to a year.
We realize the immediate impact of these changes. While Dignity Health understands and supports the Department of Public Health’s desire to implement stricter guidelines, we are also very cognizant of the impact this decision has on our partners and community members. We saw great value in our mobile clinics and know that our absence will cause a hardship for those in your community who have utilized our mobile clinic services for the past 20 years.
Regretfully, any clinics scheduled after July 12th, will be cancelled. We will continue to update information. Once we have the new licensing in place, we will reopen our clinics on Thursday afternoons at the Chandler Care Center. Please call our hotline at 480.728.3777 for the status of the clinics.
Chandler Regional's Community Outreach Immunization Program, in collaboration with Arizona's Vaccine for Children Program, sponsors free immunization clinics for children, as well as for adults. Visit Maricopa County Childhood Immunization Partnership for more information.

Who qualifies for free immunizations?
All immunizations for children and adults are free. This includes children under age 19 who are covered by AHCCCS, those who do not have insurance or those whose insurance does not cover immunizations, or are American Indian or Native Alaskan. Adults without insurance or who are under-insured are eligible for free vaccines.
What do I need to bring?
You must bring your child's immunization record and any letters from their school so we can determine which immunizations need to be given.
