Jane Hanson, President and CEO

Jane has more than 41 years of experience in the health care industry. Previously, she was Chief Operating Officer of Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers, supporting the hospitals’ operations to ensure excellence in the areas of quality and patient safety, financial performance, physician and employee satisfaction and engagement, and the patient experience.

Before joining Dignity Health, Hanson served as Chief Nursing Officer at Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, Ore., and Chief Nursing Officer at Cascade Healthcare Community in Bend, Ore. Prior to these roles, she served as Clinic Director in the Veterans Affairs Northern California System of Clinics.

Hanson obtained a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Lewis and Clark State College and went on to receive a master’s in Health Administration from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Susan Dolezal, Chief Nursing Officer and Administrator

Susan has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a focus on nursing. She joined Dignity Health in 2016 where she serves as Chief Nursing Officer at Arizona General Hospital in Laveen. Additionally, she serves as the Administrator for the hospital, increasing overall profitability through proven methods including enhanced quality assurance across multiple administrative workstreams. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix.

Benjamin Lee, M.D., Facility Medical Director

Dr. Lee serves as the Facility Medical Director for Arizona General Hospital. He joined Dignity Health in 2018 with over 15 years of experience in emergency medicine. He has worked at various healthcare systems including HCA Henrico Doctors’ Hospital in Richmond, Baptist Health System in San Antonio, and Memorial Hermann in Houston. 

Dr. Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Cybernetics from the UCLA, a Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine, and most recently a Master of Business Administration from Duke University. He is board certified in both emergency medicine and internal medicine.
