Five local farms are contributing to 400 Talley Farms Fresh Harvest Boxes

ARROYO GRANDE, CA – February 11, 2021 – Five local produce growers collaborated to provide 400 Talley Farms Fresh Harvest produce boxes for Arroyo Grande Community Hospital employees.

Talley Farms; Beachside Produce; Cuyama Orchards; Alexander Ranch, Inc.; and Clover Ag, Inc. are contributing to the boxes, which were delivered to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital this morning, Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 7:00 a.m. The contribution, made possible by Talley Farms’ efforts to procure produce from their vendors, will support hospital workers as they face the challenge of grocery shopping and preparing meals between long shifts, which has been increasingly taxing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation is also organizing 400 stress-relief packages for Arroyo Grande Community Hospital employees including rice heat therapy packs donated by the Trilogy Service Club and Donati Farms, mints, gum, snacks donated by St. Patrick School, and other personal care items.

Those who would like to help support frontline workers and COVID-19 relief efforts can donate to the Emergency Support Fund at SupportArroyoGrande.org or call Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation at (805) 994-5421
