Caring For Your Loved Ones

You play an important role in your loved one's healing

For Visitors

We understand the important role family and loved ones play in the healing process. Thank you for partnering with your loved one in their care.

Visiting Hours and Guidelines

As the spread of COVID-19 decreases in the communities we serve, St. John's Regional Medical Center and St. John's Hospital Camarillo will ease visitor restrictions effective Friday, February 25. Consistent with state and local health organization guidance, the following visitor guidelines will go into effect:

  • Two care partners or visitors who are in good health are permitted to visit a COVID-19 negative patient per day. This includes inpatient, outpatient, acute rehab, surgical and patients in the ED.

  • Patients who are under the age of 18 are permitted two parent/guardian(s) at all times.

  • Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Overnight stays are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

  • Care partners and visitors must be 18 years of age and in good health to enter the facility.  Everyone who enters the hospital is screened for symptoms of COVID-19 and must provide COVID-19 vaccine documentation or proof of a negative COVID-19 test within the past 72 hours if the individual is not vaccinated. Home tests are not accepted.

  • Care partners and visitors must wear a hospital-provided face mask at all times. The mask must sit closely against the face and cover the nose and mouth.

Please note these guidelines are subject to change. We will continue to take the necessary precautions in compliance with federal, state, and local guidance, as our staff and patients' safety remains our priority.
