Emergencies happen, and you need a place to go that can treat you or your loved one quickly. You need the emergency room at Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta.
24-Hour Emergency Care
From illnesses in the middle of the night that need emergency care to broken bones and cuts, Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta’s Emergency Department (ED) is waiting to help you.
Our goal is to have all patients seen quickly. Evaluation in the emergency department usually takes up to three hours (during peak times you may be with us longer). After you’ve been triaged, or evaluated, diagnostic tests like CT scans may be needed. If that’s the case, we may need more time to process the tests and get the results back to the emergency doctors.
Online ER Waiting Service
Spend less time in the waiting room. By using our convenient InQuicker Online Waiting Service™, you may select your estimated hospital arrival time. However, if this is an emergency that can’t wait, call 911 immediately.
If you’re experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1
You will check-in with an admitting nurse and on average can expect to see a doctor in less than 20 minutes. An emergency room doctor will assess your situation and determine the next appropriate level of care.
