Ali Saeed, MD, is the Medical Director of Interventional Pulmonology with the Norton Thoracic Institute and the Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. He is a board certified pulmonary, critical care and interventional pulmonology physician.
Dr. Saeed’s interests include thoracic oncology and diseases of the airway and pleural space. He is a member of a number of societies. Dr. Saeed’s research areas include early detection of lung cancer and opening of the airways for those with advanced lung disease.
Dr. Saeed earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Saeed completed four fellowships including: heart failure (Mount Sinai), pulmonary medicine (University of South Carolina, Columbia), critical care (University of New Mexico) and interventional pulmonology (Mayo Clinic, Rochester).
