Changes In Hospital Access During Construction

Starting on May 14, Chandler Regional's main and emergency department entrances will be temporarily relocated. This move will allow the medical center to operate as normal during the remainder of the Tower C expansion project, which is expected to be complete in October 2014.

Chandler Regional Becomes First In East Valley To Provide Robotic Gall Bladder Surgery

Gordon Bodzin, M.D., chief of surgery at Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert Medical Centers, has become the first general surgeon in the East Valley to be trained to perform robotic, single-incision gall bladder surgery.

Hospitals' Stroke Programs Receive Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Achievement Award

Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert have received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Achievement Awards. These awards recognize the medical centers' commitment to and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by ensuring stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted protocols and recommendations.
