Osama T. Niazi, DO

Cardiac Electrophysiology

Osama T. Niazi, DO is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Dignity Health Heart Arrhythmia Center, Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. 

Dr. Niazi is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Cardiac Echocardiography and Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Niazi has expertise in ablation of supra ventricular, ventricular and atrial tachyarrhythmias. He also has expertise in implantation and extraction of cardiac implantable electronic devices. His research interest is in management of arrhythmias and is actively involved in the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Niazi earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. He completed his residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and served as Chief during his training. He completed his Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship at New York University Medical Center where he also served as Chief. 

Dr. Niazi believes in shared decision making when it comes to management of his patients. He believes that both patients and physicians work together to reach a desired goal. Outside of work, Dr. Niazi enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and following Arizona and New York sports.
