Docent Guides Program
Whether this is your first child or your fourth, it helps having someone guide you on your journey so you feel confident and prepared. That’s where Dignity Health’s Docents (patient liaisons) come in! As a first-of-its-kind program in Arizona, our Docents serve as a helpful resource for you and your family.
What is the Docent Guides Program?
Starting in 2017, Dignity East Valley launched the first maternity-focused Docent Patient Liaison initiative in Arizona. The program is completely free for expectant mothers and their families, and our Docents are here to make sure all your questions are answered, and you have access to as many of our wonderful hospital resources as possible.
How Can a Docent Guide Help Me?
Docents can help answer non-medical questions and connect you with resources to get ready for your delivery and help you settle in once you’re home.
The Docents Are Accessible Both Via Phone and Text
Whether it’s a question or a request, your Docents are here to support you, and to make your St. Joseph's experience as seamless as possible!
Common Questions We Help Answer
