New Parent Support Group - In-Person

Open to the community! The Sequoia Hospital New Parent Support Group is committed to offering new parents the opportunity to explore their role in a supportive environment that lays the foundation for raising healthy, caring, and responsible children.

The group is designed to provide a forum for dialogue and exchange of ideas to help contribute to successful parenting. The group is led by a Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, who provides discussion topics and encourages group interaction.

Topics: newborn behavior, infant crying, postpartum blues, feeding issues, returning to work, family adjustments

Day/Time:  Thursdays, 9:30a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

FA Support Group

The safety of our visitors, patients, employees and physicians is our highest priority. Given the considerable concern in our community surrounding COVID-19, we have cancelled this classes and group meetings until further notice. FA (Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous) is a program based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.  There are no due, fees, or weigh-ins at FA meetings.  FA is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience and mutual support, are recovering from the disease of food addiction.

FA Support Groups meets every:
Tuesday & Friday mornings: 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Wednesday nights: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Grief Support Group – Living with Loss

he safety of our visitors, patients, employees and physicians is our highest priority. Given the considerable concern in our community surrounding COVID-19, we have cancelled all classes and group meetings until further notice. If you have experienced the recent death of a loved one, please join us in a friendly, safe and supportive setting to explore and make sense of the complex and overwhelming feelings that may accompany grief. There is no charge to attend these Monday evening sessions.

Post Stroke Caregivers Support Group

Meniere's Disease Support Group

Due to COVID-19, all in person classes and events are currently cancelled. Online classes and support group are available, please view information below.

Meniere’s disease is a disorder of the inner ear that causes hearing loss, vertigo, loss of balance, plus other conditions. It is a chronic disease and the ramifications can be life altering.  There is no known cure and it is not known what triggers the disease. Medical science can only help with managing symptoms.

People with Meniere's disease, their caregivers, friends and family are welcome to join.
