St. John’s Hospitals Appoints Doug Kleam as New President

Central Coast, CA – November 4, 2025 – Dignity Health St. John’s Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Camarillo Hospital today announced the appointment of Doug Kleam as their new Hospital President, effective December 1, 2025. Kleam brings a distinguished record of leadership and operational excellence, poised to significantly advance healthcare initiatives across Ventura County.

Kleam's operational expertise, strong strategic planning capabilities, and collaborative spirit will be instrumental in advancing St. John's Hospitals' mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality care. He currently contributes to regional health initiatives, serving on the San Bernardino County EMS committee for improved ambulance turnaround time and a meaningful 5150 taskforce. He looks forward to deepening his involvement and engagement within the Ventura community.

Prior to his return to the Dignity Health system, Kleam served as Chief Operating Officer at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Redlands and is actively involved in academia, serving on an advisory committee at California State University San Bernardino.
