Mick Meiselman, MD

Dr. Meiselman earned his Medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He completed his residency  at Cedars- Sinai Hospital/UCLA and his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Meiselman has been in both private practice and academic medicine throughout his career.

Prior to coming to the Central Coast in 2014 he  was Chief of Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy for NorthShore University HealthSystem in Chicago. He came to the Central Coast with the mission of bringing Advanced Endoscopy and was specifically recruited for that purpose. 

Since 2014, Dr. Meiselman has built a very successful program in this area. He is  the Director of Therapeutic Endoscopy for Dignity Health on  the Central Coast. He recruited Dr. Constantine Melitas who he has been mentoring for nearly a decade. They are interested in expanding Advanced GI services throughout the entire Central Coast and continues offering  state of the art care for endoscopy. 

Dr. Meiselman's specific area of interests are Barrett's Esophagus, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound and Advanced Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) with an emphasis on pancreatic and biliary tract disease as well as GI oncology.
