New Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant Joins Woodland Healthcare
Woodland Healthcare continues to grow to meet the needs of our community. Dr. Dennis Meredith joins Woodland Healthcare as an Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in spine surgery. He received his undergraduate education from Stanford University and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Meredith completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell University Hospital in New York. He completed a fellowship in Spinal Surgery at the Rothman Institute/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
“I believe in a comprehensive approach to patient care. Working with internists, anesthesiologists, neurologists, radiologists, physiatrists and pediatricians, all avenues for alternatives to surgery are explored before surgery is considered” said Dr. Meredith. “If surgery is necessary, with the patients’ goals in mind, I will perform spine surgery using the most modern, safe and effective methods tailored for each individual patient”.
Dr. Meredith’s focus will be surgery of the cervical spine and lumbar spine utilizing motion preserving techniques and minimally invasive orthopedic surgery. He will be seeing patients at our medical office location in Woodland at 632 W. Gibson Road, Woodland, CA.
