Financial Assistance

At Dignity Health, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the communities we serve. If you don't have health insurance, our financial counseling staff is here to help you to find and access government or private programs that may help you pay for health care.

The first step is to see if you are eligible for a government-sponsored health program (i.e. Medi-Cal/Medicaid, Medicare, disability). Financial Counselors are available to work with you to complete the application process. If you qualify, these programs can provide access to health care and other vital social services for you and your family. If you need assistance, please call a Financial Counselor at:

List Of Participating Providers

Dignity Health’s Financial Assistance Policy covers hospital services, including those provided by Dignity Health’s employees at each hospital facility.  Services provided by physicians (other than resident physicians, where applicable) within Dignity Health hospital facilities are not covered by the Financial Assistance Policy unless those physicians are specifically identified below. A list of physicians not covered by the policy can be viewed here

Please Note:  Under California law, emergency physicians who are contracted by Dignity Health to work in the emergency department of the hospital are required to maintain their own discount and charity care policies.
