On Thursday, Jan. 28, providers, nurses and volunteers from Woodland Clinic Medical Group, Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital and Dignity Health Medical Foundation, sponsored a teddy bear clinic to show younger children the importance of kindness and encourage them to not be afraid of the doctor. Children brought in their favorite stuffed animal for a “check-up” from friendly and kind physicians.
The event, at St. John’s Preschool in Woodland, included Dr. Ashley Sens, pediatrician in Davis, Dr. Tom March, pediatrician in Woodland, Dr. Mitesh Patel, VP of Medical Affairs, Heidi Mazeres, RN, CHWC, CDSMPS Master Trainer, Lori Maloney, RN , Julia Leroux, RN, CWS, AGCNS-BC.
