Neighborhood News

Mercy General is committed to being a good neighbor.

The Mercy General Hospital Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) is a voluntary group that advises the hospital about issues in relation to the hospital's role in the neighborhood. Anyone who is interested in East Sacramento and Mercy General Hospital is invited to attend.

The Mercy General Hospital Neighborhood Advisory Committee's purpose:

  • Actively provide information to fellow neighbors while collecting input from them to share with hospital leaders
  • Be a sounding board to discuss potential issues related to construction and renovation plans, as well as issues related to the neighborhood and Mercy General overall
  • Help identify issues and topics for future neighborhood meetings

The NAC includes representatives from a variety of different constituencies. Information related to the NAC and invitations to NAC meetings are sent to those interested residents who have indicated they wish to be involved in the group.
