Throughout cardiac rehabilitation, recovering patients enjoy working out and getting well together. Mercy's Cardiac Rehabilitation center offers exercise machines, music, and a friendly staff. A telemetry monitor continuously traces your EKG, and is watched by a registered nurse. 

The medical staff also monitors the heart's overall functional ability and counsels patients about their progress. By participating in Cardiac Rehabilitation, patients become more independent and can improve their quality of life.
