We offer the full range of cancer diagnosis and treatment options including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, all under one roof, and in a comfortable and supportive setting.
Setting the Standard in Treating Cancer
The Mercy Regional Cancer Center sets the standard for comprehensive care for patients and their families. We accomplish this through applied research, education, prevention and early detection. We also offer cancer prevention programs.
That’s why the American College of Surgeons has awarded Mercy Regional Cancer Center its highest level of accreditation for comprehensive cancer programs for more than 30 years.
A Team Approach for Cancer Care
Oncologists that practice at Mercy Medical Center Redding use a team approach to provide the finest quality of care. A tumor board brings together radiologists, surgeons, pathologists, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists to examine each diagnosis, and strategize and plan the best treatment for each patient.
We have partnered with the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center to improve cancer related care for all patients.
The Floyd Morgan Family Cancer Resource Center
Information is an important tool in cancer treatment. Patients and families who understand all there is to know about their illness can more effectively take the steps needed to improve their recovery.
The Floyd Morgan Family Cancer Resource Center and the Medical Library at our hospital offers printed and online information, as well as trained and experienced staff to assist you.
Patient's Personal Resource Guide
This is your personal Oncology Notebook. It is designed to be a workbook as well as a resource guide. It can easily be modified to best fit your particular needs. Remember this is intended to be a supplement to the advice and recommendations given to you by your physician and other health care providers; it does not take their place. We are here for you on your journey to healing.
Mercy Regional Cancer Center offers a number of diagnostic services to diagnose your cancer as well as advanced, individualized treatment options to help you recover from cancer as quickly as possible.
At Mercy Medical Center Redding, we offer a number of programs to help you including early detection, support groups and, if necessary, hospice care.
Support groups and classes offer invaluable opportunities to learn and to share with others.
