Community Grants

We can’t change the world by ourselves. Partnering with others who share our vision and values is the only way to bring about real improvements in the healthcare system. Dignity Health's Community Grants Program is one way we are working with others to increase access to quality care.

Each year, Mercy Medical Center participates in the Dignity Health Community Grants Program, which focuses on supporting non-profit community organizations whose mission is to support the delivery of services vital to improving health and well-being, and improving health equity. This opportunity is part of the CommonSpirit - Community Health Improvement Grants program. Dignity Health Mercy Medical Center is part of CommonSpirit Health, which was created in 2019 when Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health came together to create a national health system.

This year we are proud to award three grants - totaling $166,757.
