Angela Saverimuthu, MD, is a Breast Medical Oncologist with the Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. Saverimuthu's expertise includes systemic treatment of breast cancer, including the use of chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted agents. She also is experienced in management of high risk breast lesions, as well as genetic risk assessment, and counseling. She is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and European Society for Medical Oncology.
Dr. Saverimuthu received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she stayed on to complete fellowship in Hematology-Oncology, and served as Chief Fellow in her final year.
