Jaime Pineda, MD

Dr. Jaime Pineda is a board certified, fellowship trained multi-organ transplant, hepatobiliary and pancreas surgeon. He serves as the Chief of Surgical Oncology at the Dignity Health Cancer Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. 

Dr. Pineda understands the profound impact of a hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer diagnosis. His mission is to provide his patient's with expert surgical care, innovative treatment options, and compassionate support every step of the way.

Specializing in advanced surgical treatments for hepatobiliary (HPB) and pancreatic cancer, as well as cancers affecting the liver, bile ducts, duodenum, distal stomach and pancreas. His practice also encompasses malignant sarcomas and various benign conditions, such as chronic pancreatitis, liver and pancreas cysts, liver abscesses, bile duct malformations, choledocholithiasis, bile duct injuries, and cystic dilation.
