St. Joseph’s NyICU Preemies Gear Up for First Super Bowl Sunday

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Feb. 7, 2026) – Dignity Health St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center’s youngest patients kicked off Super Bowl Sunday a little early this year. The preemies in the hospital’s Nursery Intensive Care Unit (NyICU) donned New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks onesies to show their support for either team. Although they are still too young to enjoy the big game this weekend, the babies still get to celebrate the end of the NFL season in style, thanks to March of Dimes, which generously donated all the outfits and worked with St. Joseph’s NyICU staff to make this happen.

Little acts of normalcy in the NyICU, like celebrating special days, are a huge morale booster for parents who are supporting their children day in and day out as they grow and gain strength.
