Dignity Health’s Arizona service area provides a unique marketing and public relations internship opportunity for college students and recent graduates to gain strategic marketing and public relations experience in one of the fastest growing industries in the country.
As a marketing and public relations intern, you’ll be part of one of the largest hospital systems and not-for-profit humankindness providers in the nation. While all marketing and public relations internships for Dignity Health’s Arizona service area are headquartered in Phoenix, some travel to hospitals may be required.
Join one of the most successful marketing and public relations teams in the health care industry to learn tactics for juggling the big picture marketing mix while writing and pitching news stories.
Public Relations highlights from the last fiscal year with more than $472M in earned media value:
Marketing and public relations internship applicants should have at least two years of college experience with strong communication ability including good writing, grammar and organizational skills. Creativity and flexibility are essential.
Marketing and public relations interns at Dignity Health are responsible for supporting the department’s daily activities including events and promotions, writing and proofreading, assisting with media visits, as well as various other special marketing and PR projects. Work is commensurate with an entry-level public relations and/or marketing position.
The Marketing and Public Relations Internship requires approximately 20 hours per week for the spring, summer or fall semester with at least three days in the office. Some scheduling flexibility and travel may be required.
