Creighton University and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center are forming tomorrow’s healthcare professionals through a mission-driven, clinical partnership in Arizona.
Established in 2005 through one-month medical student rotations in Phoenix, the partnership has since expanded significantly. By 2012, students were able to complete two full years of clinical medical education at St. Joseph’s. The opening of Creighton University Health Sciences Campus – Phoenix in 2021 marked a new chapter for healthcare education and delivery in Arizona, directly addressing the regional demand for more compassionate, highly trained healthcare providers.

The Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance is a strategic partnership that includes Creighton University School of Medicine, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Valleywise Health and District Medical Group. Through the Alliance, Creighton’s health sciences learners receive the training necessary to become skilled, compassionate professionals and meet Arizona’s growing healthcare needs.
