St. Joseph’s Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program is a fully accredited, diverse, unique and comprehensive three year post-graduate learning experience that prepares residents to provide complete, competent and compassionate care in any practice setting.
The mission of the Internal Medicine Training Program is to train future generations of doctors who will lead the nation in providing outstanding hospital-based, ambulatory, and subspecialty care.
As an integral part of St. Joseph's Barrow Neurological Institute, the Division of Neurology has been acknowledged for its highly skilled neuroscience care - offering comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education for patients suffering from diseases and injuries of the nervous system.
The objective of the Barrow is to foster excellence in patient care, education and research. These goals are pursued vigorously by the staff of the Division of Neurological Surgery with twenty-three full-time Neurosurgeons, twenty-seven residents, three clinical fellows and several research fellows.
The Phoenix Integrated Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology (PIROG) is a four-year OB/GYN residency, fully accredited by the ACGME. Our program is a collaborative effort of the Maricopa Integrated Health System (Maricopa Medical Center) and St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
St. Joseph's Pharmacy Residency is a twelve-month program that has been designed to provide systematic training to achieve professional competence in the delivery of patient care in a diverse patient population and in practice management. It is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
We are a busy Level I trauma center in central Phoenix with a high volume emergency department treating more than 80,000 patients yearly. We are also affiliated with the Barrow Neurological Institute, an internationally renowned medical center for brain and spine diseases and home of the prestigious neuroradiology fellowship program.
St. Joseph's general surgery residency program has 11 full-time general surgical teaching faculty members, and a significant portion of their duties include resident and staff teaching.
