St. Joseph's Medical Staff Services

Medical Staff Services is a shared service and performs medical staff and credentialing functions for St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center - Phoenix and St. Joseph's Westgate Medical Center.

The Credentials Program staff processes new applications and reapplications for faculty as well as the local community for the Phoenix, Arizona geographical area. The Medical and Allied Health Staff currently consists of over 1,500 members with over 1,200 of those members being community physicians within a variety of specialities. The Credentials Program staff also conducts delegated credentialing for fifteen healthplans. The Medical Staff consists of Physicians (MD, DO), Psychologists (PhD), Podiatrists (DPM) and Dentists (DDS, DMD). Primary source verification is conducted by Greater Arizona Central Credentialing Program.
