St. Joseph's Outpatient Surgery Center/Recovery Care Center's mission is to provide first-class surgical services in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment. We focus on offering a high quality, service-oriented alternative to a traditional hospital for your surgical procedure.
The Outpatient Surgery Center is a free-standing center that is located adjacent to the main hospital at St. Joseph's. The address is 240 W. Thomas. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. There are more than 400 physicians on staff, and they perform more than 8,000 surgical cases per year. There are nine operating rooms, one procedure room and six recovery-care center beds. The Recovery Center accommodates patients needing 24-72 hours to recover from their surgical procedures. Full language translation services are available (i)ncluding sign language.

Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center
The Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center is located across from the Desert Ridge Marketplace with easy access to the loop 101 , SR-51 and the I-17 freeway. The center's highly trained staff is experienced, efficient and eager to please and have performed over 10,000 procedures. Nurses at the Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced LifeSupport .
