SAN FRANCISCO, CA (Feb. 12, 2019) – Dignity Health St. Mary’s Medical Center has awarded more than $100,000 in grants to three local nonprofit organizations through its annual community grants program. Each nonprofit was recognized for its commitment to providing innovative resources and support to improve quality of life for San Franciscans most in need.
“Community partners help us care for our patients outside the hospital’s walls,” said St. Mary’s Medical Center President John Allen. “These partnerships align closely with our mission and meet the unique health needs of San Francisco.”

The community grants were awarded in January. St. Mary’s has awarded yearly community grants since the early 1990s to promote health and wellness in the San Francisco community.
