Jeremi Leasure, Research Director



Jeremi received his Bachelor's (2006) in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University. He received his MS (2008) in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.  He currently serves as the Research Director of the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency Program.

Since 2008, his travels have taken him from orthopaedic medical device research at the Tuebingen University Medical Center in Germany to traumatic brain injury dosimetry and epidemiology with the Department of Defense in Northern Virginia, before returning to orthopaedics research with The Taylor Collaboration. Jeremi's research efforts include the standardization of cadaver-based biomechanical evaluation of orthopaedic medical devices and improving the level of evidence-based clinical research of orthopaedic surgery. 

He is a member of the Orthopaedic Research Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the International Society of Biomechanics, American Society of Biomechanics, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the International Foot and Ankle Biomechanics Community. Jeremi also serves as the Research Director of the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency Program.
