USF Health Services

Dignity Health Medical Group-Saint Francis/St. Mary’s provides students attending the University of San Francisco (USF) with primary care services. No matter what your health insurance coverage, if you are a USF student, you can use the Medical Foundation Care Center’s services. Our physicians deliver a wide range of preventive health services for both men and women. Our doctors are skilled at diagnosing, managing and treating most adult diseases, from minor conditions to multiple chronic conditions.

What Students Should Know

If you have preferred provider organization (PPO) insurance, you will not be charged a co-payment for the office visit.

If you have Kaiser (HMO) insurance, you are highly encouraged to go to Kaiser or its HMO medical home to reduce your out-of-pocket cost.

Although there is no cost to you for the office visit at a Dignity Health Medical Group-Saint Francis/St. Mary’s Care Center, you may incur fees for immunization, laboratory tests and radiology services, if needed to evaluate your health concerns.

If you are younger than 18,you can be seen at our care center, but you will need the informed consent of a parent or legal guardian before you can receive care or treatment.
