Mark Twain Medical Center Opens Annual Community Grant Funding Period

MTMC will be awarding $34,000 in January of 2022


SAN ANDREAS, CA (July 1, 2021) – Mark Twain Medical Center, (MTMC) through its affiliation with Dignity Health, has announced the opening of the 2022 Dignity Health Community Grants Program.

The Dignity Health Community Grants Program is designed to support nonprofits that collaborate to address community health needs, particularly those that focus on underserved populations. Therefore, the projects to be funded must involve collaboration with 3 local organizations and be linked to Mark Twain Medical Center.

Each grant program candidate must submit a grant proposal by the August 31st deadline in order to be considered. Applicants must be a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization or have a fiscal agent that is a 501(c) (3) organization and capable of administering the funds; the project or program must be a response to the health priorities identified in the 2019 MTMC Community Health Assessment and Community Benefit plan.

Mark Twain Medical Center’s Executive Leadership Team will carefully evaluate the programs to determine which best address the unmet health needs as revealed in Mark Twain Medical Center Community Needs Assessment. MTMC will be awarding $34,000 this grant year in January of 2022.
