Volunteer at Memorial Hospital

At Memorial Hospital, our goal is to provide quality healthcare to our patients. Our volunteers play a very important part in our healing ministry, assisting our staff and providing that “personal touch” to our patients. They help make a hospital stay as pleasant as possible for patients.

Volunteers give love every time they touch the lives of patients, guests, and employees at Memorial Hospital. As essential members of the healthcare team, they assist the hospital’s professional staff by serving as non-clinical caregivers and patient liaisons. The kindness and concern shown is especially comforting to patients and their loved ones.

As a volunteer you’ll have the opportunity to make new friends, develop new interests, share your unique talents, and most of all, enjoy the satisfaction that comes from helping others.

Who can Volunteer?

Our program is composed of two groups: adult volunteers and youth volunteers

  • Adult Volunteers: Our adult volunteers represent all segments of the community. Many find pleasure in giving back to their communities by providing excellent care to our patients and their families during their hospital stay.
  • Youth Volunteers: Memorial Hospital offers opportunities to teens ages 16 and 17 from numerous high schools in the area. Young adults learn to care for others while receiving an introduction to medical careers and the opportunity to develop leadership skills.
