Merced, CA – March 29, 2019 – Make strides to save lives by participating in Mercy Medical Center’s 8th annual 5K Stroke Awareness Run on Saturday, May 4th at Mercy Medical Center. Open to participants of all fitness levels, this fun run is a great way to celebrate life and learn the signs and symptoms of stroke. All money raised benefits Mercy Medical Center’s Primary Care Stroke Program to purchase life-saving technology, educate our community, and support programs to help improve quality of life for stroke survivors.

This 5k event is chip-timed and participants can have race results emailed or texted when crossing the finish line. Community organizations, businesses, families, friends, and faith groups are encouraged to create teams of 5 or more participants. Awards will be given for the largest team, most creative team theme and costumes, and best team selfie.
