Laboratory

The Mercy Medical Center Laboratory offers a comprehensive suite of clinical laboratory services, including specimen collection, processing, on-site testing, point-of-care services, and send-out testing. We also coordinate testing not performed within our lab by partnering with commercial laboratories for esoteric tests and utilize external services for blood and blood products.

Our laboratory conducts testing in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, transfusion medicine, and microbiology. For low-volume, esoteric, or specialty testing needs, we have established contracts with external laboratories.

Our standard business hours are:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
