Application Process

Applications for all four – EM, FM, IM, and Transitional Year – for 2020-2021 Academic Year are closed, and we will accept applications in September 2020 via ERAS for the 2021-2022 Academic Year


We invite you to consider St. Joseph's Medical Center located in Stockton, CA, as you make your residency program selection.

Application Process

Applications for Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Transitional Year Residency Programs for 2020-2021 Academic Year are closed. We will begin accepting applications in September 2020 via ERAS for the 2021-2022 Academic Year. 

St. Joseph's will accept J-1 Visas ONLY, however, St. Joseph's will not sponsor any type of visa. 

 
Documents Required:
  • Dean's Letter (not required to receive an interview invitation)
  • 3 Letters of Recommendations
  • USMLE/COMLEX Step 1 
  • USMLE/COMLEX Step 2 (some applicants are invited for an interview before scores are received)
  • Personal Statement
  • Transcript
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • ECFMG Status Report (if applicable)
  • PTAL (if applicable)
