We invite you to consider St. Joseph's Medical Center located in Stockton, CA, as you make your residency program selection.


Application Process

Applications are closed for the 2019-2020 academic year for Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. We will accept applications in September 2019 via ERAS for the 2020-2021 academic year. 

St. Joseph's will accept J-1 Visas ONLY, however, St. Joseph's will not sponsor any type of visa. 

Documents Required:
  • Dean's Letter (not required to receive an interview invitation)
  • 3 Letters of Recommendations
  • USMLE/COMLEX Step 1 
  • USMLE/COMLEX Step 2 (some applicants are invited for an interview before scores are received)
  • Personal Statement
  • Transcript
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • ECFMG Status Report (if applicable)
  • PTAL (if applicable)
