Foster Grandparent Program and Senior Companion Program

Service Areas:  Shasta, Siskiyou and Trinity

• Association with a nationally-recognized organization
• Non-taxable stipend: $4.00/hour
• 24 hours of paid pre-service orientation, training and on-going monthly training 
• Annual recognition
• Mileage or bus fare reimbursement
• Supplemental Accident and Liability Insurance Coverage while volunteering

Eligibility:

• Must be 55 years of age or older
• Income eligibility
• Health Clearance from Physician (paid)
• Criminal history background check clearance (paid)
• Enjoy working with children or seniors

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program

Service areas: Shasta, Siskiyou, Trinity, Lassen and Tehama

• Association with a nationally-affiliated organization
• Annual recognition
• Supplemental Accident and Liability Insurance Coverage while volunteering
• Training from the organization
• Opportunity to help members of your community through organized effforts

Eligibility:

• Must be 55 years of age or older
• Criminal history background check clearance (paid)
