Foster Grandparent Program and Senior Companion Program
Service Areas: Shasta, Siskiyou and Trinity
- Association with a nationally-recognized organization
- Non-taxable stipend: $4.00/hour
- 24 hours of paid pre-service orientation, training and on-going monthly training
- Annual recognition
- Mileage or bus fare reimbursement
- Supplemental Accident and Liability Insurance Coverage while volunteering
Eligibility:
- Must be 55 years of age or older
- Income eligibility
- Health Clearance from Physician (paid)
- Criminal history background check clearance (paid)
- Enjoy working with children or seniors
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
Service areas: Shasta, Siskiyou, Trinity, Lassen and Tehama
- Association with a nationally-affiliated organization
- Annual recognition
- Supplemental Accident and Liability Insurance Coverage while volunteering
- Training from the organization
- Opportunity to help members of your community through organized effforts
Eligibility:
- Must be 55 years of age or older
- Criminal history background check clearance (paid)
