Programs & Screenings

Mercy Medical Center Redding is dedicated to the health and wellness of our community. Through our Community Benefit department, we offer the following programs and screenings to help patients and everyone to maintain their best health possible.

Breast Cancer Early Detection Program

This annual Breast Cancer Screening is for women age 40 and older. Early detection of breast cancer can save lives. Find out if you are qualified for this state-funded program. Learn more on our Classes & Events page. 

Healthier Living Program – Chronic Disease Management

This is an award-winning program developed by Stanford University to help you better manage chronic health conditions and live a happier, healthier life. This program is for adults age 18 and older with heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, arthritis, chronic pain, and other chronic diseases, or caregivers.

Lung Cancer Screening Program

People who are at high-risk of developing lung cancer may be screened early so they can receive a diagnosis before symptoms develop. Ask your doctor if you are a candidate for our lung cancer screening program.

Quit for Good – Smoking Cessation Class

This is an effective, eight-session class designed to help you quit all types of tobacco. These classes are for those willing to make a healthy change. Learn more on our Classes & Events page.
