St Elizabeth and Lassen Medical Group Reach Agreement

Posted in:
In a historic move that will ensure the comprehensive primary healthcare of patients in Tehama County, Lassen Medical Group and Dignity Health have signed an agreement today that will allow the facility to continue serving the North State now, and well into the future.

The agreement is the first step to advance a long-standing collaboration between the two organizations.

Patient care is a top priority for both Lassen Medical Group and Dignity Health, and this agreement will help to ensure the 60-year legacy of patient care established by Lassen Medical Group will continue in the North State. The focus of this enhanced venture is to provide continuity of primary care to Tehama County.

“[With health care in California, and across the nation, facing new challenges every day, this agreement allows us to focus, improve and advance patient care for this community.],” said Dr. Kimberli Frantz, executive director with Lassen Medical Group.

Lassen Medial Group evaluated many prospective partners. Dignity Health met the criteria as a suitable partner, allowing Lassen Medical Group to continue building on its legacy. This alliance will support the current management team, the employees and the more than 30 providers in their mission to deliver needed care to more than 60,000 area residents.

“We have been a long-standing partner to Lassen Medical Group and recognize the valuable care they provide to the community and that is why we are committed to seeing the legacy of care continue through our agreement],” said Todd Smith, President of Dignity Health’s St. Elizabeth Community Hospital. “Our united vision and mission will accomplish more for Tehama County residents."
