New Gastroenterologist and Oncologist Join Woodland Healthcare

Woodland Healthcare continues to grow to meet the needs of our community. Please meet our two new physicians, now seeing patients at our medical office(s) in Woodland.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh joins Woodland Healthcare as a Gastroenterologist. He received his undergraduate education from Stonybrook University, New York, and his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, New York. Dr. Singh completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, Newark New Jersey (formerly known as UMDNJ). Dr. Singh’s focus will be in general Gastroenterology as well as advanced endoscopy procedures including endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP.

“As a physician, I believe that the best treatment relies on active listening and educating patients, so they can make the best informed decisions about their health” said Dr. Singh. “My priority is to afford time and attention to each individual patient to address their concerns and provide them with the highest level of care.”

Dr. Singh will be seeing patients at our Advanced Imaging and Surgery Center in Woodland at 1321 Cottonwood Street, Woodland, CA. 

Dr. Sonia Reichert joins Woodland Healthcare as an Oncologist and Hematologist. She received her undergraduate education from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia and her medical degree from Our Lady of Fatima University, in Manila, Philippines. Dr. Reichert completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York. She completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. Dr. Reichert’s focus will be general Hematology and Oncology and will also serve as the Director of Clinical Trials for the Greater Sacramento region.

“As a physician, I believe illness affects the body and mind, emotions and spirit, the individual and the family,” said Dr. Reichert. “Cancer is a journey that includes family and friends, successful treatment involves tracking this journey hand in hand with my patients and supporting their medical and personal needs every step of the way.”

Dr. Reichert will be seeing patients at our Cancer and Neurosciences Center in Woodland at 515 Fairchild Court, Woodland CA.
