Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital Announces New Vice President, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Nurse Executive

Woodland Calif. (November 1, 2023) – Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital announced today that Dale Steakley, MBA, RN-BC, ASBC, CMSRN, LNHA, PAC-NE has joined the hospital as its new Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nurse Executive. Dale is a strong healthcare executive and nurse leader with more than fifteen years of hospital leadership experience.

In his role, he will oversee hospital operations, patient care services and nursing personnel within Woodland Memorial Hospital.

Before joining Woodland Memorial Hospital, Steakley served as CEO with Ernest Health in Sacramento where he was accountable for all executive functions of hospital operations. Prior to that he held various key leadership roles in hospital operations, nursing leadership and population health management. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama and a Master’s in Business Administration from Northcentral University, along with multiple board certifications.
