Woodland: Cancer Support Group

Living With Cancer is a cancer support group for individuals who have or have had cancer, whether receiving treatment or not. Spouses, caregivers, family members and friends of people who have cancer are welcome and encouraged to attend.
 

Second Wednesday of each month, 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Woodland Cancer Center Conference Room, 515 Fairchild Court

Woodland: Caregiver Support Group

We offer a Caregiver Support Group for those caring for a loved-one with Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease and other brain impairments. This group is a unique opportunity to discuss care-giving issues and strategies. Co-sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association.

Second Tuesday of each month, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Woodland: Multiple Sclerosis Support Group

Together with the Northern California Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Woodland Memorial Hospital hosts the Woodland Multiple Sclerosis Support Group. Support groups bring people together who share a common life experience for support, education, and mutual aid. Benefits of participation in a self-help group include learning new information and strategies for confronting problems; finding support from others; engaging in the opportunity to help others; and feeling empowered and more self-confident in coping with challenges.


Last Wednesday of each month, 6 to 8 p.m.

Woodland: New Mothers Support Group

Join Woodland Memorial Hospital lactation consultants and staff, along with other new mothers to answer questions and share the challenges and joys of bringing baby home. You are welcome to bring your baby, significant other and family members to this support group. The support group is bilingual.

Woodland: Women Spouses Caregiver Support Group

With financial support from the National Caregiver Support Program via Area 4 Agency on Aging, we offer a support group specifically for women caring for their spouses.
Alternate between Woodland and Davis on the second Saturday of each month, from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Yolo Adult Day Health Caregiver Support

We offer a Caregiver Support Group for those caring for a loved-one with Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease and other brain impairments. This group is a unique opportunity to discuss care-giving issues and strategies.
