Mercy Hospital Folsom Visiting Hours and Guidelines

 

Please see below for Mercy Folsom's current visitation policy:

Masking

Masks are not required for staff, patients, or visitors, with the following exceptions:

  • Masks are required for patients, staff and visitors in respiratory/droplet/airborne isolation areas.
  • Visitors and patients are encouraged to wear masks if they are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness.

Patient visitation for:

Inpatients

  • 2 visitors at a time per patient

Family Birth Center

  • 2 visitors (not including support person) may rotate during labor & delivery
  • 2 visitors at a time during postpartum recovery; visitors may rotate out

Emergency Department

Patients under the age of 18:

  • 1 support person as capacity permits
  • Visitors are limited in the ED Lobby (except for Pediatric Patients)

Outpatient Procedures/Visits

  • 1 support person
  • (Must stay in the waiting room / designated waiting area)
