At Dignity Health Neurological Institute of Northern California, we provide neurological rehabilitative care in an environment that encourages recovery, independence and a positive sense of well-being.
Our neurological rehabilitation team works with patients to set goals and develop an individual treatment program to help them learn self-advocacy, responsibility and self-management. We are one of only four California demonstration projects for rehabilitative treatment of traumatic brain injury.
Dignity Health Neurological Institute’s Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Program, located at Mercy General Hospital, is a CARF-certified inpatient rehabilitation unit with a medical director on-site. The program offers a range of rehabilitation services that are among the most comprehensive in the region, specializing in functional recovery after neurological events including illness and accident.
Dignity Health in Sacramento offers rehabilitation options to fit in with your unique needs. Our rehabilitation programs include:
An intense interdisciplinary education and training program for patients following head injury, spinal cord injury, major multiple trauma and other disabling conditions.

Subactue rehabilition services are available at Bruceville Terrace, a skilled nursing facility providing short- or long-term medical and rehabilitative care, 24 hours a day. For more information call 916.423.6000.
