Sustained Through Acts of Generosity and Kindness

Help support Dignity Health Foundations

Ways to Give

Every day, our caregivers provide compassionate care to the patients they serve. In return, many patients ask how they can express their gratitude for the care they received. Your gift through one of our foundations is a meaningful way to thank a doctor, nurse, or other caregiver who touched your life and to help those in need in our communities.

Mercy Foundation

For more than six decades, Mercy Foundation has been partnering with the community to further the mission of the Sisters of Mercy, who have served the Sacramento region since 1857. Together, we help feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, educate the underserved, and care for the sick at Mercy General Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Methodist Hospital of Sacramento and local Dignity Health clinics. Our ability to aid the most vulnerable is only sustained through individual acts of generosity and kindness. Join us as we continue our mission "until the end of need." Support Mercy Foundation

Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation

Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation was established to generate philanthropic support for our hospital. Through the years, the Foundation has connected residents passionate about health care with our hospital and the result has been gratifying. Even more important, the Foundation's success has positively affected everyone in our community. Support Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation

Woodland Healthcare Foundation

For nearly 50 years, Woodland Healthcare Foundation has valued partnering with the community to support Woodland Memorial Hospital. Together, we continue to fund capital equipment needs, support physicians and staff, educate, and develop programs that are needed to strengthen our hospital, clinics and community. Volunteer Opportunities

At Dignity Health, our goal is to provide quality health care to our patients. Our volunteers play a very important part in our healing ministry, assisting our staff and providing that "personal touch" to our patients. Our volunteers enjoy working side by side with our staff, developing camaraderie with other volunteers, and having a sense of pride as they donate their time to help others.
