U.S. News and World Report Top Recognition for COPD Care
U.S. News & World Report named Glendale Memorial Hospital a High Performing Hospital for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) procedures in recognition of care that was significantly better than the national average, as measured by factors such as patient outcomes. “High Performing” is the highest rating U.S. News awards for COPD care.

Healthgrades named Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center a Five-Star Recipient for Defibrillator Procedures in 2022. Certified Cardiac Fitness Center
Glendale Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Fitness Center received full certification from the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) for our Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. This certification is the only peer-reviewed accreditation process designed to review individual facilities for adherence to standards and guidelines developed and published by the AACVPR and other professional societies.
Breast Imaging Center of Excellence
The Marcia Ray Breast Center received the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE) designation by the American College of Radiology (ACR), which distinguishes our facility for achieving optimal outcomes. The BICOE designation is awarded to breast imaging centers that achieve excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the ACR’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program. The Center is also recognized as an “Outstanding Community Partner” by the San Fernando Valley Unit of the American Cancer Society.

Glendale Memorial Hospital is a Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care. Baby-Friendly® Designation by the World Health Organization
Glendale Memorial Hospital is one of less than 450 of hospitals nationwide to earn the designation as a Baby Friendly® Hospital. To achieve this status, we designed our care practices to provide our patients with a high-level of breast-feeding support and education in the first crucial months of a baby's life.
